Hello! I'm an incoming PhD student at University of Michigan's School of Information (beginning Fall 2026), co-advised by Libby Hemphill and Abigail Jacobs. I am interested in how normative aspects of privacy, security, and data governance manifest within socio-technical systems.

Since 2020, I have worked on Open Text's Static Application Security Testing product as a software engineer. In 2025, I obtained my MA in Biomedical Informatics from Columbia University, where I was advised by Gamze Gürsoy and investigated some interesting privacy questions with the G2Lab. I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2019 with a BA in Computer Science.

If there's overlap in our interests please contact me! My prior experience spans algorithmic privacy, programming languages/compilers, qualitative analysis, and (biomedical) data science. I am particularly excited to form interdisciplinary/cross-domain collaborations.
